Idea
Generate awareness for the boardwalk’s revitalization through a distinctly human lens. Reimagining local creative leaders and visionaries as famous works of art. Fully embracing a level of kitsch that captures visitors' attention.

Execution
Portraits were created to reflect each visionary’s unique creative contribution in a lighthearted way. These 6-foot tall portraits were displayed prominently on a breezeway wall along the boardwalk, making them visible to over a million annual visitors. Additionally, we paired the portraits with a social media and email campaign that explored each person's story in more depth.

Result
The campaign immediately captured some local buzz but went on to win a Communicator award. Metrics showed increased website traffic and higher click-through rates from our email campaigns. Most importantly, it raised awareness about the boardwalk’s commitment to the arts.
